Re: oil or lortion to relax tense forehead muscles
Mon, April 21, 2008 - 5:10 AM
whenever i catch myself in the mirror
(or even "feel" it with my third eye - haha)
i simply change my expression
i have this thing i do with my tongue against
my teeth and i make a smile and tilt my head
and say to myself, "sweetness, gentleness"
then i look in the mirror
and that line in the middle of my forehead is gone!
and of course, you know the scientific saying
about how many muscles it takes to smile
versus how many it takes to frown . . .

Re: oil or lortion to relax tense forehead muscles
Mon, May 12, 2008 - 7:18 PMessential oils to use to ease muscle tension are...
Peppermint --> works wonders for tension headaches for this very reason
Arnica --> this should always be suspended in a carrier oil like grapeseed... it is another muscle reliever and healer... natural
anti-inflammatory as well
Birch --> I have used this oil with good results when it comes to muscle tension... I've rubbed it into my temples and it gets workin almost
immediately... this is always recommended for it's anti-inflammatory attributes...
I use all of these in my massage oils with my clients and at home with my family... You can always add them to a simple lotion that is unscented...
