i was wondering how effective using tea would be as a facial mist?
for e.g. i bought today a beautifying skin purifying tea including:
red clover, nettle leaves, dandelion leaves, burdock root, chamomile, lemon balm, lemon peel and natural lemon flavour.
would it work on the outside like it would on the inside?
thanks!

Re: tea facial mist
Fri, October 16, 2009 - 7:03 PMI think this will work very well - use distilled water to make the tea, filter it so it doesn't clog your spraying device, and then put some vodka to help preserve it - you don't need too much :-) -

Fri, October 16, 2009 - 7:28 PMyou can get freeze dried extracts of green tea too, so you can add it dry to say..facial clay, and it will work with the clay making a super strong drawing masque, and the tea lifts and cleans out the pores as well. i just add a bit of water to the tea conc. and rub a bit into my face, its colorless at that concentration. -

i love the idea of using edible things for my skin.. as though something you can't eat shouldn't be applied topically in the first place.. but i admit i do use Clarins and Nivea etc also for now :/ -
