I know you can make tooth powders of varying combinations of baking soda, salt, herbs, etc. But does anyone have a recipe for an actual paste that is nice and minty?

Re: homemade toothpaste?
06/26I've not made it in a while (been lazy and buying Uncle Harry's powder) but I'm sure the recipe can be
found on the net, somewhere :)
Standard Issue Recipe:
mix bs with sea salt - 5:1 ratio
1 tsp of veg glycerine
add drops of peppermint or spearmint essential oil to taste
I rather enjoy using Fennel and Lemon or Cinnamon and Sweet Orange oils to mix up the flavor.
I also like adding Myrrh (very small amount in powder form) or Clove but both can be a bit overwhelming,
so you may want to experiment later as both offer. germ fighting abilities. Additionally, though some people
don't like to use it, GSE is a good additive as well.

Re: homemade toothpaste?
06/30I make my toothpaste by creating a paste with clay, baking soda and sage tea. I then add some peppermint and tea tree E.O. -
