What's your favourite thing that you make that you keep with you in your purse?

Cheers,
Katy

None of these are things I make, but cosmetics in my purse:

a Montana Emu Oil stick. (good for so many moisturizing tasks, incl. lips)
mini pot of Amaleigh mineral powder foundation (well, I did blend 2 shades to perfectly match my skin)
mini Kabuki style soft powder brush
sheer lipliner in a shade very close to my natural lip color
hemp lipstick in a soft plummy red or sometimes one in a neutral-toned sheer berry
a soft chunky double-sided Clinique blendable pencil w/ translucent gold gleam/ sheer warmish clay
tiny vial of amber oil or a small chunk of amber.
a very small narrow oval mirror, in a velvet case that belonged to my Grandma.

If it's a party or date night, I may bring a sheer gray or burgundy narrow eyeliner pencil (also works as shadow). Mascara generally a nightime dress-up thing, & only goes on once w/ no touch-ups- naturally black eyelashes. I use a clean mascara-style brush to get rid of any clumps.

Sounds like a lot, but it's all in small packages, so I don't need a big purse- all fits in a zipped compartment of my modest one.
Stuff I make tends be bath products or hair rinses. They go in the fridge, where they won't go bad.

This whole kaboodle is my main go-to & travel makeup, easily transfers from one purse to another. Stronger colors, bindis, sparky stuff etc., is for real theatrics & mostly lives at home. I look young for 50, but still, as I get older, I do more skincare & softer, more natural makeup. A little more skin help makes a big difference, but otherwise, less is now more.
