i have recently tryed this and i found it really works for me: take one kitchen paper towel cut out eye and mouth holes so that you are left with a mask. beat 1 egg white till it is really frothy and apply to face ,put mask on face then apply another layer of egg white over top let dry. slowly peel off
hope this works for others

I too have used this (not for blackheads though) and was unsuccessful with Seventh Generation and Natural Choice paper towels - being 100% post consumer recycled, they fall apart. Bounty and Ultra work but I'd rather not use those brands.

So, I use *cheese cloth with success. *just an alternative in case others experience deterioration of their towels

Excellent! I never really had blackhead issues so much as I had pimples. I learned that many can be prevented in the first place by doing a liver detox. Before doing that, make sure your colon is working so the toxins have a place to escape (not your skin!) - look into that!

i have both blackhead and pimple problems... weird deep pimples too... should do a years worth of detox or something...
    anyway...
the best thing i have found is applying hydrogen peroxide... the kind from the drug store...
after a couple of days it will draw even the deepest blemish out and pushes out all sorts of impurities...
works also on other abrasions, stuff stuck under the skin, like a rock bit stuck in my daughter's cheek after having a large rock thrown near her and hitting her in the face, leaving a rock bit which went unnoticed under her skin for a year... the body tried to move it out, but the H2O2 drew it out and spit it out of her face...

interesting...my son has a pencil tip that has been in his thigh since the summer. the doctor said it would eventually come out, but at this point the skin is all grown over and i don't think it is going anywhere on its own. i wonder if peroxide works for that. on another note...i use 1/2 peroxide and 1/2 water as a mouth gargle and have had the best dental cleanings ever since i started this about a year ago.

Ouch! I'd have to gouge that out if it was in my thigh! what volume strength is the peroxide you use in your mouthwash?

just the regular kind you buy at any store...it doesn't bother me, although you have to get used to the taste. i believe there may even be directions on the peroxide bottles..i'm not home so i can't check, but i'll get back to you on it. peroxide is what is in several of the whiteners people buy for their teeth, i haven't noticed any whitening though.

oh..and i actually tried picking it out of his thigh, it didn't work and we had to go to the doc because it got infected...that's when i was told to leave it alone!!

I have heard that this can eventually erode your teeth a bit. A Kaiser Permanente dental hygenist told me that. Has anyone else been told that?

yet another pencil point in palm.... actual point is out, but you still see the tat!

There is a stainless steel loop tool that is good for blackheads and pimples if used carefully. You should steam, clean and soften the skin before using it, and use it carefully so as to not damage the skin.

I love the loop! Great idea to steam, too. I hadn't tried the steam part, but have used the loop for years. So much better than picking at your acne, and a lot less skin damage.
