I found this on a blog I'm addicted to (www.designspongeonline.com/)
Debranded Home is simply a set of labels costing $9 for you to put on reusable bottles to put your products in. The idea being that you won't have so my visual pollution in your home. But for those of you who like making your own lotions/body wash/shampoo, this sort of thing might be mighty useful!
debrandedhome.com
I don't see why you couldn't also make them yourself using clear labels and a printer, but I'm into supporting the person who is making a business of it. I just wish they sold containers too. I've gotten all into making my home pleasing to my eyes from every angle, and having a lot of pretty little bottles to put these things in would be awesome. Anyone know of a place to get containers?

Re: Debranded Home
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 12:17 PMYou know, I'd love to have every bottle in my home be a romantic little glass bottle. I use them in my kitchen and for art supplies but I'm afraid I wouldn't know how to get the right amount of goopy body wash out of a glass bottle. Do you find that to be a non-issue? -

Re: Debranded Home
Wed, May 7, 2008 - 1:21 PMwhat did we do before those convenient plastic shampoo and conditioner bottles? Oh, I remember, we dropped the slippery glass while taking a shower/bath and had to make a quick run to the emergency room while still dripping wet, where we waited for stitches in our hand or foot.
I'll take the plastic - even though it's ugly and environmentally unfriendly but clumsy proof, over girly, romantic and scar producing, thank you.
at least for those sorts of beauty and home care products.

Thu, May 8, 2008 - 10:30 AMoooh and back then we were also brightening our compexions with arsenic weren't we?
As much as its fun to romanticise, I'm glad to have been born in modern time.
I just want everything to LOOK old and romantic. I suppose I'll just keep the gauzy shower curtain closed!
